Terms and Licence
Software licence agreement for Fonn
Effective date: 30 October 2026
These terms set out the licence under which you may use Fonn, an Audio Unit plugin for Logic Pro. Please read them before installing. By installing or using Fonn, you agree to them.
1. Who we are
Fonn is made by Ingyn, a trading name of Douglas Graham, Office 1, Technology House, 9 Newton Place, Glasgow G3 7PR, United Kingdom ("we", "us").
You can contact us at support@tryfonn.com.
2. Buying Fonn
Fonn is sold through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the reseller and merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy processes your payment, handles sales tax and VAT, and issues your receipt.
Lemon Squeezy's terms apply to the payment itself. These terms govern your licence to use Fonn.
3. Your licence
On purchase, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Fonn on up to three computers that you own or control.
- share, resell, rent or redistribute Fonn or your licence key;
- remove or bypass any licensing or copy protection; or
- reverse engineer or decompile Fonn, except where the law specifically allows it.
This licence lasts indefinitely, but ends automatically if you break these terms.
4. Your work
We claim no rights over your recordings or the MIDI that Fonn produces. You may use them however you like, including in commercial releases.
5. Updates
Updates to version 1 of Fonn are included at no extra cost. A future major version may be sold separately.
6. Third-party components
Fonn includes open-source software, listed with its licences in the file THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt, installed at /Library/Application Support/Ingyn/Fonn/.
7. Your legal rights
If you are a consumer, you have legal rights under UK law, including that digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Nothing in these terms affects those rights.
8. Limitation of liability
We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for loss of business, profit or data. Please keep backups of your projects.
We do not limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
Subject to clauses 7.1 and 8.2, our total liability to you is limited to the price you paid for Fonn.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland.
If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may bring a claim in the courts of your home country.
